About Art Cards Connection

Hello! Thanks for wanting to learn more about what Art Cards Connection is all about. It is great to have you here. My name is Juliana and I am based in the Ottawa area. This is a passion project that came from my love for creating connections through art cards and events.

Building a sense of connection is important, especially as we live in a time when loneliness is on the rise. Since the pandemic began, I focused on creating online communities such as the 5 Minute Presentation Event Series and Wellness Connections. I have started shifting to in-person events, founding the Bourget Community Market and the St. Albans Christmas Market.

Another way to build connections is through sending greeting cards. Growing up in a family where sending holiday cards was an annual tradition taught me the power that sending cards can have in keeping in touch with those whom I care for. Through my time in nature and during my travels, I became passionate about photography. Over time, I came to realize I could combine these two interests by making my own greeting cards. As someone who also appreciates good puns, I have started making hand drawn cards as well. All cards I sell are blank so they are multi-purpose. As well, I offer photoshoots.
